What is MOM?
MOM — MultiChannel Order Manager, from Freestyle Solutions / Dydacomp — is the order management system behind thousands of catalogers, DRTV sellers, and multi-channel ecommerce businesses. One system for order entry, customer records, inventory, purchasing, fulfillment, payments, and the books.
It is deep, battle-tested software. Operators who have lived in it for years can process a day's orders faster than any generic tool on the market, because every screen and workflow was built for exactly their job.

Your data comes with you.
OpenMOM was built by reverse-engineering real MOM systems — the actual database and the actual API — so your history moves with you, not into a black box. The migration framework is live today and proven end to end in the September 2026 rehearsal: 1.88 million rows extracted, 1.77 million loaded, zero errors, zero PCI violations — covered by 380+ automated tests.
Extract
A read-only tool connects to your MOM database and catalogs everything — customers, orders, products, history. Your live system is never touched.
Transform
Every customer, order, and product keeps a link back to its MOM record, so nothing loses its history and you can always trace where data came from.
Validate
Row counts reconciled, totals cross-checked, relationships verified. If anything doesn't line up, the migration stops — no silent data loss.
Cutover
You switch when you're ready, with a rollback window. MOM stays readable while the two run side by side. No forced downtime.
Run it where you want
At the January 2027 release, self-host with Docker on your own servers, or let the upcoming cloud edition run it for you. The core targets a complete small-operation workflow; scale modules — multi-warehouse, multi-brand, channel connectors — are commercial.

At the January 2027 public release, the core will be available under ELv2 to inspect, modify, and run for your own operation. The license will prohibit offering substantial OpenMOM functionality to third parties as a hosted or managed service. Commercial tiers will never gate your data or export.

05 · Public repository
Coming January 2027.
The repository will open as soon as OpenMOM is fully tested, reaches 100% parity with MOM 10, and delivers improvements beyond the legacy system.
